Wilma (Brown) Nielsen, 95, of Castalia, went home to be with her Lord, early Tuesday morning, October 20, 2015 at The Meadows at Osborn Park.

She was born on July 11, 1920 in Manchester, KY to the late Stephen James and Polly Ann (Craft) Brown.

Wilma was a Charter member of Fellowship Baptist Church, where she was the president of ladies fellowship. She was also a 50 plus member of Eastern Star. Wilma was employed as a Supervisor at New Departure before retiring after 37 years of service. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, bowling, and fishing. Wilma was famous for her homemade cooking, especially her candy and chicken and dumplings. She loved spending time with her family and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her two sisters, Edna and Mildred Hampton of Manchester, Kentucky; and many special nieces, nephews and other family members.

Including her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Nielsen; two infant children; her brother, Edward Brown; and two sisters, Evelyn Lamb and Pearl Stewart.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Wilma Brown Nielsen will held on Saturday, October 24 at 11 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Saturday after 10 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
