Wilma Jean Hooker

Wilma Jean Hooker, age 82 passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. She was born on Tuesday, October 13, 1942 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of Sam and Loma (Ruth) Hammons. She was a homemaker and attended Jacks Branch Bible Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing her children: Susan Hooker Woods and husband Denny, Etta Jean Burchfield and husband Jeff, Kim Baker and husband Mansell, Shelia Jackson and husband Michael Paul; these grandchildren: Hope Jones, Dustin Woods, Brandi Robertson, Kelsee Burchfield, John Vernon Hooker, Courtney Forman, Justin David Jackson and James Daniel Jackson; and these great grandchildren: Lily Jean Robertson, Tyson Hooker, Ian Tate Hooker, Andi Grace Forman, Elijah Forman, Adeleigh Forman, Everlee Davidson and Nova and Olivia Jackson.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Sam and Loma Hammons; her husband: Vernon Hooker, and her sister: Irene Napier.

Funeral Services for Wilma Jean Hooker will be conducted on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ryan Smith will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Hooker Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Monday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
