William Eric Goins

William Eric Goins the 44 year old son of Charles and Judy (Bennett) Goins passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on Saturday, March 29, 1980 in Richmond, Kentucky. William was a retired police officer, businessman and member of the Baptist faith.

He leaves to cherish his memory his father: Charles Goins, his sister: Amy Howard and her husband Brian and his beloved nephews and niece: Carter Howard, Evie Howard and Sterling Howard. Also surviving are his aunts and uncles: Janie Tatum and her husband Jim, Ann Deaton and her husband Mark and Carol King and her husband JC as well as a host of cousins, family and friends whom he loved dearly. 

He is preceded in death by his mother: Judy Goins, his paternal grandparents: Saul and Lois (Rawlings) Goins and his maternal grandparents: Claude and Martha (Cornett) Bennett.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in memory of William to The Gideons International.

Private services will be conducted at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.

He will be laid to rest in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
