Wendell "Cabbage" Root

Mr. Wendell “Cabbage” Root, age 71 departed this life on Monday, October 8, 2018.  He was born on Saturday, November 30, 1946 in Manchester, Kentucky to John and Viola Wolfe Root.  He was retired from the Kentucky Department of Highways and a member of the Horse Creek Baptist Church.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Pat Hobbs Root and these brothers and sisters: John Root, Ed Root, Jim Root, Lillie Tedders and Debbie Tedders.

He is preceded in death by his parents: John and Viola Root, his daughter: Bessie Renee Root and his son: Randall Gene Root

Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 2 PM at the Rice Cemetery in the Lyttleton Community.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Rominger Funeral Home.
