Wayne Keen

Wayne Keen, age 65 of Manchester departed this life on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at the AdventHealth of Manchester.  He was born on Sunday, January 5, 1958 in Manchester to the union of William and Ellen Smith Keen.  He was a retired custodian for the Clay County Board of Education, his favorite pastime was playing the guitar, he loved being with his family, spending time with his fur baby: Dooley and checking on friends and neighbors.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 50 years: Emma Smith Keen, his loving daughters: Melissa Smith and husband Ricky and Natasha Keen as well as his fur baby: Dooley and his beloved brother and sisters: Ray Keen, Lois Smith and husband Coby and Versie Corum and husband Chester as well as several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents: William and Ellen Keen.

Funeral Services for Wayne Keen will be conducted on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Bobby Stevens, Rev. Jim Smith and Rev. Golden Smith will be presiding.  He will be laid to rest next to his mother: Ellen in the Keen Family Cemetery in the Buzard Community.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Wednesday evening from 6 PM until 9 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
