Virgil McKinley Bowling

Mr. Virgil McKinley Bowling, age 53 of Manchester departed this life on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at his home.  He was born on Thursday, December 24, 1970 in Red Bird, Kentucky to the union of Hobert and Lucy England Bowling.  He was a farmer, a member of the Clay County Cruisers and loved building old cars, riding ATVs and Motorcycles.

He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife of 33 years: Linda Kaye Smith Bowling, his daughters: Erica Danelle Bowling Smith and husband Richard, Serena Ally Mae Hoskins and Catherine Nicole Brumley, his grandson: McKinley James Earl Smith and his granddaughter: Nova Rylee Aurora Smith.  Also surviving is his mother: Lucy Bowling, his brothers: Lonnie Wayne Bowling and Randall Bowling and his sister: Peggy Sue Smallwood.

He is preceded in death by his father: Hobert Bowling, his brother: Hobert Bowling, Jr. and his sister: Rena Carol Sizemore.

Funeral Services for Mr. Virgil McKinley Bowling will be conducted on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Tony Bowling will be presiding.  Burial will follow in the Smith-Sizemore Cemetery in the Bar Creek Community.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday evening from 6 PM until 9 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
