Thelma Allen

Thelma Allen, age 83 passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at the Advent Health Manchester. She was born on Monday, September 8, 1941 in Barbourville, Kentucky to the union of John and Helen (Eversole) Spurlock. She worked at Advent Health Manchester for 25 years. 

She leaves to mourn her passing her children: Donna Cochran and husband Jeff and Jeffrey Mason Allen; these grandchildren: Mark Dalton Murphy, Macy Sue Murphy, Jesse William Cochran and wife Stephanie, McKenzie Allen; these great grandchildren: Ellie Jane Minadeo, Troy Mason Murphy and Jude Walker Cochran. Also surviving are these sisters: Linda Martin of Dayton and Rena Smith of Florida.

She is preceded in death by her parents: John and Helen Spurlock; her husband: Mason Allen; her daughter: Greta Allen Murphy and these sisters and brothers: Mallie England, Johnnie Sue Harbin, Margaret Tatum, Cecil Spurlock, Mikey Spurlock, Eugene Spurlock and Tommy Spurlock.

Funeral Services for Thelma Allen will be conducted on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ronnie Brown and Rev. Mike Gray will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Paces Creek Cemetery in the Paces Creek Community. 

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday after 1:30 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
