Tamara "Tami" Woods

Tamara “Tami” Jeannine Woods, age 58 departed this life on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. She was born on Saturday, June 25, 1966 in Hyden, Kentucky to Shafter Bowling, Jr. and Linda Wolfe Bowling. She was a former employee of Advent Health, a caregiver and a manager for Get and Go Quick Stop. She attended Four Square and Big Creek Baptist Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing her children: Glyndon Joe Daniel Woods and Love Sarah Marie Westberry; Isaac Lee Woods and Shevy Lynn Woods; one grandchild: Malia Love Westberry.

Also surviving is her sister: Yvonne Delynne Bowling and two step-brothers: Rodney Farmer and Ronnie Farmer and wife Kristal; her step-mother: JoAnn Bowling; two nephews: Shafter Ryan Davidson and Jessica Kidroske and Clay Dalton Bowling and two nieces: Anabel and Adison Farmer; great nieces: Rylee Kate Davidson and Braelyn Dugger; great nephews: Atlas Kage Davidson and Gunner Ryan Davidson and several relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Also surviving are two uncles: Johnny Dean Wolfe and wife Loretta, Wendell Wolfe and one aunt: Brenda Bowling.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Shafter Bowling, Jr. and Linda Wolfe Bowling.

Graveside Services for Tamara “Tami” Woods will be conducted on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 3 PM at the Reid Cemetery in the Greenbriar Community. Jeremy Hacker will be presiding. She will be laid to rest in the Reid Cemetery in the Greenbriar Community.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Wednesday after 2:30 P. M. at the Reid Cemetery.
