Taft Asher

Mr. Taft Asher, age 80 of Greenbriar departed this life on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at his home.  He was born on Monday, March 13, 1939 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of Mack and Clarissa Helton Asher.  He was retired from the Kentucky Department of Highways.

He leaves to mourn his passing his daughters: Sherri Hacker and her husband Terry and Keresia Hoskins.  Also surviving are his grandchildren: Tanner Hacker, Carson Braden and Lindsey Hoskins as well as his brother: Carter Asher and his wife Karen.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Mack and Clarissa Asher, his wife Marilyn Bobbie Asher and these brothers and sisters: Forrester Asher, Oscar Asher, Howard Asher, Joe Asher, M. C. Asher, Charles Asher, Norma Rollins and Winnie Collette.

A celebration of life for Mr. Taft Asher will be conducted on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. John “Boo” Smith will be presiding.  He will be laid to rest next to his wife Bobbie in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
