Ruth Ann Gibson

Ruth Ann Gibson age 72 of Oneida, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Baptist Health in Richmond, Kentucky. She was born on Friday, January 6, 1950 in Manchester, Kentucky to William Nelson and Hazel Hampton Cheek.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband: James Gibson, her children: Lisa Smith and husband Scottie and James Michael Gibson and wife Martha Lou as well as her grandchildren: Jennifer Nunn, Tanner Smith, Lauren Smith, Jordan Gibson.  Also surviving are her step grandchildren: Dwayne Gibson and Billy Joe Gibson and her great grandchildren: Andrew Nunn, Alizah Nunn and Zander Nunn and 4 step great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers: Larry Cheek and James Ed Cheek and her sister: Della Mae Lovins.

She is preceded in death by her parents: William Nelson and Hazel Cheek.

Funeral Services for Ruth Ann Gibson will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 in the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Wade England and Rev. Stan Sester will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Martin Cemetery in the Red Bird Community.

The family of Ruth Ann Gibson will receive friends and loved ones after 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday - February 23, 2022 at the Rominger Funeral Home.
