Ruby M. Nance

Ruby M. Nance, age 78 departed this life on Sunday, July 14, 2019.  She was born on Thursday, November 7, 1940 in Harlan, Kentucky to Shirley and Allie Smith.

She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter: Pam Smith and her husband Roger “Bud”, her sons: Marvin Combs and his wife Sandra and James “Preach” Combs and his wife Shenay.  Also surviving are her grandchildren: Samantha Smith, Michael Smith and Christopher Combs, 2 great grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: Jackie Smith, Bob Smith, Carl Smith, Verdie Morgan and Ruth Williams.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Shirley and Allie Smith, her husband: Frank Nance, her brothers: Angelo Smith, Calvin Smith, Harold Smith, Mearl Smith and Shirley Jr. Smith as well as her sister: Kathlene Smith.

A celebration of life for Ruby M. Nance will be conducted on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Shirley Joe Smith will be presiding.  She will be laid to rest in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
