Ruby Lois (Hollin) Carpenter

Mrs. Ruby Lois Carpenter, age 57 departed this life on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the Adventist Health Hospital.  She was born on Tuesday, March 21, 1961 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of T. J. and Birdie Gibson Hollin.  She worked for Daniel Boone as a transit driver and was a member of the Crawfish Holiness Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband: Eugene Carpenter, her children: Eugene “Geno” Carpenter and his wife Robin, Jason Wayne Carpenter and his wife Michelle, Frankie Carpenter and his wife Gretta and MaKenzie Grace Mitchell Carpenter as well as her grandchildren: Shalynn Faye Carpenter, Trevor Carpenter, Logan Carpenter and Charity Carpenter.  Also surviving is her brother: Tommy Hollin and his wife Rhonda, her very special uncle: Clarence Hollin, her very special nephew: Steven Roberts and a special friend Taylor Rogers.

She is preceded in death by her parents: T. J. and Birdie Hollin and her sister: Katie “Kizzie” Roberts.

A celebration of life for Mrs. Ruby Lois Carpenter will be conducted on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Cecil Benge, Rev. Johnny Benge and Rev. Scotty Jewell will be presiding.  She will be laid to rest in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends and loved ones after 6 PM on Monday at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
