Rosetta Hill, age 66 of Middlesboro, formerly of Manchester, passed away Sunday, April 18th, 2010 at the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital in Middlesboro, Kentucky. She was born August 10th, 1943 in Pineville, Kentucky to Jess Hill and Nora Cash Walker. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter: Christine Hunter and husband Paul of Middlesboro, Kentucky, her grandsons: Paul Christopher Hunter and Mark Joseph Hunter, 4 aunts: Ella Walker of Cincinnati, Dollie Jones of Lexington, Helen Fullwood of Lexington, and Thelma Walker of Manchester. Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Liddie Cannon of Cincinnati, Helen McClinton and husband Dale of Cincinnati, Geneva Philpot and husband Herbert Wayne “Dobber” of Manchester, Belesia Walker of Manchester, Deliah Horsey of Manchester, Alexander “Alex” Walker and wife Phyllis of Lexington, Billy Russell Walker and wife Judy of Corbin and George Pearl Walker and wife Peggy of Manchester. Also surviving are these special friends Mitchell Hembree, Sr., Mitchell Hembree, Jr., Scott Hembree, and Danny Joe Cox and other nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral Services for Rosetta Hill will be Wednesday, April 21st, 2010 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ken Bolin and Rev. Avis Thompson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery in Manchester, Kentucky.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 21st, after 11:30 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
