Mr. Robert Thompson, Jr. age 78 of Corbin, Kentucky passed away Sunday, March 29th, 2009 at his home. He was born April 9th, 1930 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Robert Thompson, Sr. & Emma Vaughn Thompson.

He is survived by the following children: Brenda Hall of Annville, Kentucky, Bill Thompson of Burning Springs, Letha Bray of Annville, Kentucky, Rick Thompson of Manchester, Kentucky, Peggy Frazier of Rogersville, Tennessee, Johnny Thompson of London, Kentucky, Lonnie Thompson of Newport, Kentucky, & Josh Thompson of London, Kentucky. Also surviving are a special nephew: Jeff Abner, 20 Grandchildren, & 9 Great Grandchildren, & these sisters & brother: Mattie Martin of Las Vegas, Nevada, Vera Leever of Florida, Lois Smith of London, Catherine Eastwood of Corbin, & Estill Thompson of Manchester.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Robert Thompson, Sr. & Emma Thompson, his daughter: Micky White, 2 granddaughters: Rhonda Bray & Tracy Sandlin, his sister: Mildred Young, & his brother: Ronnie Thompson.

Funeral Services for Mr. Robert Thompson, Jr. will be Friday, April 3rd, 2009 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tim Ball will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Proffitt Cemetery in the Fogertown Community.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 2nd, after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
