Rev. Daugh Henson, age 72 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky. He was born on Monday, June 15, 1942 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Curt and Cordia Hatfield Henson. He was a minister where he was a member of the Crawfish Holiness Church and worked in the coal mines.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Joan Lee Lewis Henson, his daughter: Linda Faye France and his son: William Curtis Henson and his wife: Tammy. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Lindsay Smith and her husband Robert, Jonathan Henson and his wife: Ashley, Ashley Murray and her husband John, Tina France, and Bonnie Meeks, these brothers and sisters: Letch Henson and his wife Mittie, Tommy Henson and his wife Debbie, Terry Henson and his wife Sherry, Lommie Proffit, Beatrice Fridley, Nadine Webb, Ann Benge and her husband Doug, and Lorene Reed and her husband Bart. Also surviving is his Aunt: Della McCoy, his great grandchildren: Connor Isiah Murray, Rylan Chase Murray, Austin France, Ronnie Meeks, Harley Meeks and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Curt and Cordia Henson, and his children: Jimmy Johnny Henson, Rachel Bernice Sester, and Jeannie Henson, and his brother and sister: Jr. Henson and Dolsie Perkins.
Funeral Services for Rev. Daugh Henson will be conducted on Thursday, November 20 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Cecil Benge and Rev. Donnie Mathis will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith and Curry Cemetery in the Curry Branch Community.
Visitation will be on Wednesday after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
