Rena Faye Pennington, age 70 passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024 at her home.  She was born on Friday, January 1, 1954 in Oneida, Kentucky to Hardin and Beatrice Bowman Ponder.  She was a bank accountant and a member of the Pleasant Point Missionary Baptist Church.


She leaves to mourn her passing her husband: William Jasper Pennington, her daughter: Kimberly Pennington, her sisters: Betty Ann Robinson and husband Wallace and Margaret Cupp and husband Paul as well as a host of nieces and nephews.


She is preceded in death by her parents: Hardin and Beatrice Ponder and her brothers: Laney Reid, Bobby Lee Reid and Tony Ponder.


Funeral Services for Rena Faye Pennington will be conducted on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Frank Peters will be presiding.  Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery in the Burning Springs Community.


The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.


Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
