Ray Martin

Ray Martin, age 86 of Oneida departed this life on Friday, December 15, 2023 at the AdventHealth of Manchester.  He was born on Tuesday, October 5, 1937 in Manchester to Chester and Della Davidson Martin.  He was a 41 year member of the Sizerock Baptist Church.

He leaves to mourn his passing his sons: James Chester Martin (Geneva), Kenneth Ray Martin (Tina) and Donald Lee Martin (Debbie) all of Oneida, his grandchildren: James Nathan Martin, Michael Tyler Martin, Matthew Martin, Kimberly Martin and Kyle Martin, step-grandchildren: Katelyn Burkhart, Brittany Burkhart and Austin Burkhart, 6 great grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren.  Also surviving are his sisters: Ruby Sizemore and Edith Davidson and his  brother: Carl Donald Martin (Orvillene) as well as a host of nieces and nephews and his special neighbors and friends: Bro. Carl and Alice Brown.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Chester and Della Martin, his wife: Connie Martin, his sister: Martha Barger, his brothers: Jesse Martin, Earnest Martin and Robert Martin and his step-grandson: Justin Burkhart.

Funeral Services for Ray Martin will be conducted on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.  Bro. Carl Brown, Bro. George Abner and Bro. William Hugh Hudson will be presiding. He will be laid to rest next to his loving wife Connie in the Fairview Cemetery in the Brutus Community.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Wednesday after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
