Oliver M. Smith

Mr. Oliver M. Smith, age 86 of Manchester, passed away Tuesday, June 16th, 2009 at his home. He was born August 28th, 1922 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a retired butcher & farmer & a member of the Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Esther Smith, these step children: Annette Smith of Tennessee, Paulette Henson of Manchester, Nancy Bishop of Manchester, Joe Sandlin of Ohio, Bernice Smith of Manchester, Shannon Sandlin of Mt. Vernon, Shauna Barger of Leslie County, Michael Sandlin of Indiana, & Myra Roark of Manchester. Also surviving are 21 step grandchildren & 23 step great grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mr. Oliver M. Smith will be Friday, June 19th, 2009 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Carmen Brewer & Matt Kerney will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Hector Cemetery in the Bar Creek Community.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 18th, after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
