Mr. Wendell Roberts

Mr. Wendell Roberts, age 63 of Crawfish Road in Manchester, passed away Thursday, March 11th, 2010 at the VA Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born May 5th, 1946 in Laurel County, Kentucky to the union of Bleve and Sybil Sweet Roberts. He was a businessman, a member of the Horse Creek Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife: Betty Roberts of Crawfish, his sons: Glenn Roberts of Georgia, Mark Roberts of Manchester, Stephen Roberts of Manchester and James Michael Roberts of London. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, his mother: Sybil Roberts of Knox County, one sister: Jewell House of London and one brother: Terry Roberts of Knox County.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Gideons International.

Funeral Services for Mr. Wendell Roberts will be Saturday, March 13th, 2010 at 2 PM at the Horse Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Anthony Lovett will be officiating. Burial will follow in the White Cemetery in Manchester, Kentucky.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 13th, after 1 PM at the Horse Creek Baptist Church.
