Mr. Wade Rice

Mr. Wade Rice, age 78 of Burning Springs, passed away Tuesday, July 20th, 2010 at his home. He was born August 9th, 1931 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Leonard and Luerenia Woods Rice. He was a retired automobile salesman, self employed, a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.

He is survived by his children: Rebecca Rice of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, and David Rice and wife Faye of Frankfort, Kentucky. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren: Jason Harris and wife Amy of Manchester, and Kelley Harris of Frankfort, Kentucky. Also surviving are 5 great grandchildren, one sister: Charlene Baker of Burning Springs, his niece: Debbie Burns and husband Ronald Wayne, 2 great nephews and 1 great niece: Jarrett, Rachel, and Nathan, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Leonard and Luerenia Rice.

Funeral Services for Mr. Wade Rice will be Friday, July 23rd, 2010 at 12 PM at the Macedonia Baptist Church. Rev. Charlie Goodman will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery in the Burning Springs Community.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 22nd, after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
