Mr. Teddy Smith

Mr. Teddy Smith, age 78 of Garrard, passed away Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010 at his home. He was born August 4th, 1931 in Garrard, Kentucky to the union of Ted Smith, Sr. and Mona Wagers Smith. He was a farmer, a member of the Mill Creek United Methodist Church, and he served in the United States Air Force. He was chairperson for the Soil Conservation Board and Finance Chairperson and Trustee for the Mill Creek United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his children: Johnny Dean Smith and wife Tammy of Garrard and Judy Ann Murray and husband David of Garrard. Also surviving are the following grandchildren: Tara Smith, Britney Smith, Kayla Smith, Steve Murray, John Murray and wife Ashley, Emma Murray, Mailee Murray, and Kylee Murray, and his great grandson: Connor Isaiah Murray.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Ted Smith, Sr. and Mona Smith, and his wife: Mallie Smith.

Funeral Services for Mr. Teddy Smith will be Sunday, June 27th, 2010 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. William Hugh Hudson and Rev. Cleve Bowling will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Jeremiah Smith Cemetery in Garrard.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 26th, after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
