Mr. T. J. Jackson

Mr. T. J. Jackson, age 76 of Manchester, passed away Sunday, August 7th, 2011 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born January 14th, 1935 to the union of Henry and Lola Grubb Jackson. He was a coal miner.

He is survived by his wife: Ruth Jackson, and these children: Carol Jean Jackson of Goose Creek, Eugene Jackson of London, Barbara Jackson of Texas, Betty Sue Jackson Hubbard of Manchester, Sue Jackson of Manchester, R. J. Jackson of Manchester, and Norma Jackson of Florida. Also surviving are these sisters: Evelyn Simpson of Curry Branch, Marie Grubb of Manchester, and Letha Jackson of Pineville, Kentucky.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Henry and Lola Jackson, his children: Frieda Jackson and Donna Sue Jackson and these brothers and sister: Volesee Asher, Orville Lee Jackson and Ray Jackson.

Funeral Services for Mr. T. J. Jackson will be held on Wednesday, August 10th, at 2 PM at the Chop Bottom Holiness Church. Rev. Roscoe Roark, Rev. Willie Smith, Rev. Anthony Lovett and Rev. Ernest Smith will be officiating. Burial will follow in the T. J. Jackson Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 9th, after 6 PM at the Chop Bottom Holiness Church.
