Mrs. Thelma Walker

Mrs. Thelma Walker, age 87 of Walker Lane in Manchester, Kentucky passed away Friday, August 19th, 2011 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was a homemaker and a housekeeper for the Rominger Family for many years, as well as a member of St. Paul AME.

She is survived by her children: Daniel Walker (Bernice) of Lexington, Kentucky, Clarice Hamilton of Manchester, Kentucky, Gilbert Walker, Jr. of Manchester, Kentucky and Brenda Weatherford of Charlottesville, Virginia. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, multiple great grandchildren and multiple great great grandchildren, and 2 sisters: Helen Fullwood of Lexington, and Ella Walker of Cincinnati, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents: James and Sally Goins Cash, her husband: Gilbert Walker, Sr., her sons: Jimmy Walker, Cecil Walker, and David Walker, and her daughter: Bertha Ricketts, several sisters and one brother.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Thelma Walker will be Friday, August 26th, 2011 at 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Avis Thompson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery in the Town Branch Road Community in Manchester, Kentucky

Visitation will be Friday, August 26th, after 10:30 AM until the funeral hour at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
