Mrs. Stella Williams Jackson, age 77 of Burning Springs departed this life on Friday, September 13, 2013 at her home. She was born on Sunday, April 19, 1936 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Tink and Fannie Dunaway Williams. She was a homemaker and a member of the holiness church for over 30 years.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband: James Jackson of Burning Springs. Her children: Lois Estep of Burning Springs, Joyce Estep of Hector, Boyce Gibson of East Manchester, Doris Gibson of Island Creek, Lester Gibson of Ponder Branch, Donna Collins of Pine Lick Community, and Jessie Gibson of London. Also surviving are 27 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: Daryl Williams of Oneida, George Williams of London, Hiram Williams of Sand Hill, June Williams of Chop Bottom, Shirley Williams of Chop Bottom, Arnold Williams of Chop Bottom, Ellen Collins of Manchester, Ruby Williams of Louisville, and Judy Smith of Elk Creek and her God son: Virgil Wayne Bowling of Paces Creek.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Tink and Fannie Williams, her sisters: Cassie Stewart, Sudie Henson, Mary Botkins, and Reefie Jean Williams, and her brothers: Charles Monroe Williams and Pearl Williams.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, September 16, at 2 PM at the Hector Holiness Church. Rev. George Roberts, Rev. James Wagers, Bro. William Hugh Hudson and Rev. Carl Henson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Serenity Gardens in the Ponder Branch Community.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 14 after 6 PM and on Sunday at the Hector Holiness Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
