Mrs. Rosie McQueen, age 88 of Manchester departed this life on Monday, July 3, 2017 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was born on Sunday, February 3, 1929 in Manchester to the union of Leander and Eliza York Reid. She was a homemaker.

She leaves to mourn her passing her children: JoAnn Jackson, Willis McQueen and his wife Joyce, Stanley McQueen and his wife Debra, Wanda McQueen and Jimmy McQueen. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Leander and Eliza Reid, her husband: Henry McQueen, her son: Henry Clay McQueen, her daughter: Joyce Gay, 6 brothers: Mark Reid, Taylor Reid, Crit Reid, Henry Reid, Andrew Reid, and Jr. Reid and 3 sisters: Lucy Bray, Mary Reid and Alpha Reid

Funeral Services for Mrs. Rosie McQueen will be conducted on Thursday, July 6 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Eldon Browning will be presiding. Burial will follow in the McQueen Cemetery in the Huckleberry Road Community in Manchester.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
