Mrs. Parlee Creech, age 81 of Manchester, passed away Wednesday, October 12th, 2011 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was born December 4th, 1929 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Theo and Ellen Hatfield White. She was a retired cook for the Clay County Board of Education and a member of the Manchester Baptist Temple.
She is survived by her daughters: Alice Brown and her husband: Dennis of Manchester, Gerri Gabbard and her husband Charles Wayne of Manchester, and Carolynn Rieser and her husband Bill of Rocksford, Illinois. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren: Angela White, Kristen Lubbers, Jeremy Gabbard, Kelly Brown, and Charles William Gabbard, and 2 great grandchildren: Tyler White and Korey White. Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Callie Reynolds of Waggaman, Louisiana, John Bus White of Manchester, Pearl Smith of Newport, Kentucky, and Ralph “Bill” White of Corinth, Kentucky.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Theo and Ellen White, her husband: Shade Creech, and these brothers and sisters: P. J. White, Etta Smith, Joe White, Mamie Crawford, and Charlie White.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Parlee Creech will be Friday, October 14th, 2011 at 11 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lyman Fisher and Bill Rieser will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Enjine Cemetery in the Blue Hole Community.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 13th, from 6 PM until 9 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
