Mrs. Modena Keith, age 76 of Manchester, passed away Saturday, January 29th, 2011 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was born September 16th, 1934 in Jackson County, Kentucky to the union of Oscar and Emily Witt Montgomery. She was a member of the Burning Springs Church of God and was a devout Christian and served the Lord faithfully until He called her home.

She is survived by her children: Charlene Mullins of London, Fayetta Farmer of Tyner, Melissa Yingst of Burning Springs, and Karen Batten of Lexington, Ohio. Modena was blessed with 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She is survived by these brothers and sisters: Jr. Ray Montgomery of Cincinnati, Ohio, James David Montgomery of McKee, KY, Delores Tyree of McKee, KY, Geneva Coffey of Tyner and her half brother: Eugene Hurley of Cincinnati, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years: Clarence Keith, her parents: Oscar and Emily Montgomery, and these siblings: Geraldine Montgomery, Beulah Mae Keith, and Edward Bruce Montgomery.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Modena Keith will be Wednesday, February 2nd, 2011 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. David Peters will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery in the Burning Springs Community.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 1st after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.

Rominger Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
