Mrs. Minerva Dollie Rowland

Mrs. Minerva Dollie Rowland, age 80 of Manchester, passed away Friday, September 11th, 2009 at her home. She was born September 17th, 1928 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Moten & Edna Mae Alder Smith. She is a retired cashier & a member of the Horse Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter: Verne Rowland Webb of Manchester, her son: Garry Lynn Rowland of Manchester, her granddaughter: Andrea D. Webb of Richmond, Kentucky & her sister: Lela Hibbard of Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Moten & Edna Mae Smith, her husband: Fred Rowland, Jr., her granddaughter: Melinda Runion, her brothers: Moten Smith, Jr. & Virgil Smith, & her sister: Lois Proffitt.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Gideons International.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Minerva Dollie Rowland will be Sunday, September 13th, 2009 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Anthony Lovett will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Ephram Creek Cemetery in the Ephram Creek Community.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 12th, after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
