Mrs. Mayme West

Mrs. Mayme West, age 72 of Oneida departed this life on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born on Sunday, November 7, 1943 in Clay County to the union of Estill and Lillie Spurlock Hudson. She was retired from the Manchester Memorial Hospital where she worked in housekeeping.

She leaves to mourn her passing her son: Russell West and his wife: Teresa of Maryville, Tennessee, her grandson: Raven West, her step grandson: Austin Perkins and these brothers and sisters: Anna Sester and her husband Albert, Odessa Cole and her husband Marvin both of Manchester, Connie Martin and her husband Ray of Oneida, Henry Hudson of Jackson County, and Johnny Hudson and his wife Theda of Oneida, and a host of neighbors, friends, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Estill and Lillie Hudson, her husband: Pittman West, and her sisters: Pearlina Hudson Depew and Pauline Hudson Holmes.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Mayme West will be conducted on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jessie Martin and Bro. William Hugh Hudson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Hudson Cemetery in the Banks Branch Community.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
