Mrs. Matilda B. Woods

Mrs. Matilda B. Woods, age 90 departed this life on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in London, Kentucky. She was born on Friday, January 8, 1926 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of Luther and Laura Roberts Burns. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Zion Baptist Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing her sons: Hobart Woods, Jr. and his wife Wilma and Vernon Woods and his wife Judy, and her daughter: Judy Woods and her husband Dennis. Also surviving are the following grandchildren: Anthony Luther Woods, John Ed Woods, Darrell Douglas Woods, Michelle Truty, and Becky Reed, her great grandchildren: Ryan Hobart Woods, Aaron Travis Woods, Parker Woods, Johnathon Woods, Kristen Truty, and Michael Truty as well as her sisters: Ruth Cope and Alma Maxie and her brother: Carlo Burns.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Luther and Laura Burns, her husband: Hobart Woods, Sr., her daughter: Wanda Woods, and these brothers and sisters: Leslie Burns, Audrey Pajor, Clay Burns, Astor Burns, Maxine Burns, Edna Smith and George Burns.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Matilda B. Woods will be conducted on Tuesday, November 22, at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dale Wyatt and Rev. Jay Mathis will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held on Monday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
