Mrs. Marie Downey

Mrs. Marie Downey, age 86 departed this life on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Somerwoods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Somerset, Kentucky. She was born on Monday, June 17, 1929 in Manchester, Kentucky to Dill Davis and Julie Ellen McDonald Davis Marcum. She was a homemaker.

She leaves to mourn her passing her son: Eli Combs, her sister: Eliza Jarvis and her husband J. and other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Dill Davis and Julie Ellen Marcum, her husband: Gilbert, and these brothers and sisters: Marum Davis, Mena Massey, and Johnny Adams.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Marie Downey will be held on Wednesday, June 15 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. James Wagers and Rev. George Roberts will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Downey Cemetery in the Horse Creek Community.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
