Mrs. Mabel Martin Brumley

Mrs. Mabel Martin Brumley, age 80 of Brushy Branch in Manchester, Kentucky passed away Sunday, August 8th, 2010 at the Laurel Creek Health Care Center. She was born January 14th, 1930 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Leonard and Lucy Turner Martin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Island Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of over 63 years: Arnold Brumley, 2 sons: Michael Brumley and Linda Sue of Manchester and Walter Brumley and wife Linda of Manchester. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren: Alan Frost, Kim Burns and Randall, Angela Shell and Terry, Tonya Holland and Jason, Shane Brumley and Crystal, and Adam Brumley. Also surviving are 15 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and these brothers and sisters: Charlie Martin of Manchester, Marie Whitehead of London, Leonard "Jeep" Martin, Jr. of Cold Hill, Kentucky, and Doris Cottongim of Manchester.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Leonard and Lucy Martin, her daughter: Karen Sue Frost, and these brothers and sisters: Olzie Bowling, Pleas Martin, Evelyn Davidson, Tom Martin, Naomi Mills, and Paul Martin.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Mabel Martin Brumley will be Wednesday, August 11th, 2010 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Charlie Martin and Rev. George Roberts will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 10th, after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
