Mrs. Lou Annie Jarvis

Mrs. Lou Annie Jarvis, age 87 of Little Goose departed this life on Friday, December 27, 2013 at the Laurel Creek Health Care Center. She was born on Wednesday, November 24, 1926 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of William and Ann Minton Cheek. She was a homemaker and a member of the Zion Baptist Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her children: Geneva Minton and her husband Clifford, and Jimmy Wayne Jarvis and his wife Wanda. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Leslie Faye James, Lena Rae Spurlock, Clifford Bryan Minton, Faith Nicole Smallwood and Brittney Paige Howard, and 9 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents: William and Ann Cheek, her husband: Clarence Holt Jarvis, and her son: Kenneth Jarvis.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Lou Annie Jarvis will be conducted on Monday, December 30, at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Charlie Hubbard will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Cheek Cemetery in the Urban Community.

Visitation will be held on Sunday evening after 6:30 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
