Mrs. Lola "Odie" Alice Woods

COURTESY OBITUARY: Mrs. Lola "Odie" Alice Woods, 73, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 31, 2013. Mrs. Woods was born February 6, 1940 in Manchester, KY to the late Gilbert and Thelma Gregory. She was Baptist by faith. Among those who preceded her in death include, her brother, Ralph Gregory and sister, Bonnie Hacker. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Darrell Woods; children, Teresa Jones (David) and Gilbert Woods (Waltraud); grandchildren, Jason Alvey (Jenny), Shayne Alvey (Shelly), Joshua Alvey (Shaina), Josef Woods (Angela) and Jordan Darrell Woods; great-grandchildren, Jordan Darrell, Jr., Ella, Bice, Colton, Elena, Elliot, Mollie and Payton; siblings, Ray Gregory, Ruby Hibbard, Phyllis Crawford, Russell Gregory and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with internment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.
