Mrs. Lettie Sibert

April 2, 1924 — August 17, 2012

Lettie Sibert, age 88, passed away Friday, August 17th at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was born April 2, 1924 to Columbus and Emily Strinkles Hatfield. She was from the Hima Sibert area of Horse Creek in Manchester. She was owner and operator of Lettie’s Café from the 1960’s until her retirement in the late 1970’s.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Bates Sibert.

She is survived by her daughter: Opeleen Webb and husband, Marcus of Cincinnati, Ohio. She has 2 granddaughters: Colleen Peterson and husband Dan of Pennsylvania and Kim Webb of Fairfield, Ohio. She has 3 great grandchildren: Mark, Jessica and Luke. She leaves these brothers and sisters: R. B. Hatfield and wife, Dorothy; Rosie Cooke and husband, Joe; and Evelyn Fisher, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 1:00 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Anthony Lovett officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 11:30 A. M. until funeral time on Tuesday at the chapel.
