Mrs. Joan Cotton, age 67 of Big Hickory Road in Manchester, passed away Friday, March 26th, 2010 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lyttleton Baptist Church.
She is the wife of George Cotton of Manchester, the mother of Karen Horton and Johnny of Sandy Hook, Kentucky and Dennis Cotton and Terri of Manchester, the grandmother of Kari Cotton and Megan Ruth Cotton of Manchester, Anthony Horton of Sandy Hook, Brad Horton of Dayton, Ohio, Brett Horton of Sandy Hook, and Tyler Grubbs of Sandy Hook.
Also surviving are 4 great grandchildren, her father: Rev. Robert Stevens, and these brothers and sisters: Barbara Root of Manchester, Faye Hicks of Manchester, Jean Sams of Manchester, Danny Stevens of Manchester, Vicky Bruner of Manchester, Debbie Goins of Cadiz, Kentucky, and Bobby Stevens of Manchester, and a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives.
She is preceded in death by her mother: Grace Stevens.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Joan Cotton will be held on Monday, March 29th, 2010 at 2 PM at the Lyttleton Baptist Church. Rev. John Boley will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Cotton Bend Cemetery in the Cotton Bend Community.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 28th, after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
