Mrs. Irene Combs, age 94 of Oneida, departed this life on Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Laurel Creek Health Care Center. She was born on Thursday, June 5, 1921 in Lee County to the union of Sam and Jenny McIntosh Napier.
She leaves to mourn her passing her children: Mary Thompson, Ronald Jennings Combs, Mildred Combs and Billy Wayne Combs all of Oneida, and Clyde Jr. Combs of Winchester. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents: Sam and Jenny Napier, her husband Clyde Combs, and her brothers: Samuel Napier, Jr. and Orville Napier.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Irene Combs will be conducted on Tuesday, April 26 at 9 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Steve Crumpler and Rev. Youel Napier will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Oneida Cemetery in Oneida, Kentucky.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 PM until 9 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
