Mrs. Glenalee Ruth Smith, age 86 of Buzzard Road in Manchester, passed away Sunday, October 3rd, 2010 at her home. She was born February 13th, 1924 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of John Ruth, Jr. and Dallas Jones Ruth. She was a homemaker and a member of the Indian Grave United Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband: Forster Smith, her children: Wayne Sizemore and wife Becky of Manchester, Clerndon Sizemore of Manchester, and Geraldine Downey and husband D. C. of Manchester, 8 step children: Bruce Smith, Billy Smith, Harold Smith, Patricia Smith, Linda Smith, Helen Mitchell, Brenda Collins, and Patsy Stewart. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren: Eric Sizemore, Dale Downey, Wesley Sizemore, Wade Sizemore, Della Sue Sizemore, and 8 great grandchildren: Kaitlin Downey, Samantha Downey, Jacob Downey, Austin Sizemore, Matthew Sizemore, Shea Sizemore, Jarrod Sizemore, and Melissa Grubb. Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Eugene Ruth of Annville, Kentucky, Fredia Hacker of Manchester, and Ina Faye Yaryan of Indianapolis, Indiana.

She is preceded in death by her parents: John Ruth, Jr. and Dallas Ruth, and 3 sisters: Dorothy Ruth, Betty Beason, and Loretta Ruth, and 1 son: Troy Sizemore.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Glenalee Ruth Smith will be Tuesday, October 5th, 2010 at 11 AM at the Indian Grave United Baptist Church in the Bundy Hollow Community with the United Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Ruth Cemetery in the Buzzard Road Community.

Visitation will be Monday, October 4th, after 5 PM at the Indian Grave Baptist Church.
