Mrs. Georgia C. Sharp Hopper, age 89, passed away Friday, August 31 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. She was born December 12, 1922 to Clarence and Callie Anderson Combs in Clay County, KY. She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by 2 children: Johnia Palmer of Lexington, KY and William Sharp of Wildcat, KY. She has 3 grandchildren: Jada Wallace, John Sharp and Hannah Sharp. She has 1 great grandchild: Shelby Wallace. She leaves 1 sister: Evelyn Jackson of Frankfort, KY.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Clarence and Callie Combs; her 1st husband and the father of her children: John D. Sharp; and her 2nd husband, John Hopper, and her son: James Edward Sharp.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 3, 2012 at 1:00 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joey Burns and Rev. Bobby Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the Sharp Family Cemetery in the Wildcat Community.
