Mrs. Faye Gibbs Rice

Mrs. Faye Gibbs Rice, age 68 departed this life on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born on Thursday, December 18, 1947 to the union of Tom and Pearl Adams Gibbs. She was a microfilm technician and a member of the Calvery Baptist Church in Frankfort.

She was united in marriage to David Rice on Saturday, July 6, 1991 whom she leaves to mourn her passing. Also surviving is her sister-in-law: Rebecca Rice as well as these brothers and sisters: Raymond Gibbs and his wife Alice of Sandusky, Ohio, Margaret Gibbs of Manchester, Billie Jones and her husband Clarence of Wyandotte, Michigan, Lenzie Gibbs and his wife Drussie of Manchester, France Brock of Barbourville, Kentucky and her sister-in-law: Viralee Gibbs of Manchester. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews as well as a host of other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Tom and Pearl Gibbs, her mother-in-law: Opal Rice Webb, her brother: Kenneth Earl Gibbs, her sister: Wyomie Gibbs, and her brother-in-law: Theo Brock.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Faye Gibbs Rice will be conducted on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. William Hartung will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery in the Charlie Sizemore Road Community.

Visitation will be held on Sunday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
