Mrs. Evelyn Roark

Mrs. Evelyn Roark, age 59 of Garrard, passed away Monday, June 21st, 2010 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was born December 25th, 1950 in Harlan, Kentucky to the union of Kenneth and Estella Moore Shelton. She was a homemaker and a member of the Curry Branch Holiness Church.

She is survived by her husband: Monroe Roark of Garrard, these children: Sherry Henson of Manchester, Glenn Roark of Fogertown, Calvin Roark of Manchester, Christy Roark of Manchester, Tina Hacker of Beech Creek, and Monroe Roark, Jr. of Keavy, Kentucky. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and these brothers and sisters: Shirley Gray, Sarah Calhoun, Sue Shelton, and Kenny Dale Shelton all of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Evelyn Roark will be Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010 at 3 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Carl Henson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Goose Rock Cemetery in the Goose Rock Community.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 22nd, after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
