Mrs. Edith A. Strong

Mrs. Edith A. Strong, age 86 of Green Street in Manchester, Kentucky passed away Thursday, October 1st, 2009 at the Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly. She was born December 27th, 1922 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of William & Cleo Combs Rogers. She was a homemaker & a member of the Manchester Christian Church.

She is survived by her son: Rogers Strong & wife Kimberly of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, 2 grandchildren: Connor Rogers Strong & Farris Mackenzie Strong, one brother: Howard C. Rogers of Manchester, & 1 nephew: Fred A. Rogers & wife Judy of Manchester.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Ralph Fred Strong.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Edith A. Strong will be Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Fred Rogers will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 3rd, after 12:30 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
