Mrs. Cora H. Eversole, age 76 of Otter Creek Community departed this life on Saturday, September 13, 2014. She was born on Saturday, January 8, 1938 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Ben and Mary Lawson Harris. She was a retired cook for the Clay County Board of Education, delivered lunches for the Senior Citizens, and a member of the Mud Lick Baptist Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing her sons: David Eversole and his wife Cindy, and Stacey Eversole and his wife Rosalene. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, these brothers and sisters: Irene Smallwood, John Harris, Ermalene Jackson, Lorene Smith, Jimmy Smallwood, and Nathan Smallwood, her special nephew: Adam Ray Smith, special friends: Denver “Gabe” Napier and Vernon Depew, and a host of nieces and nephews, other friends and relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Ben and Mary Harris and her brother: Ernest Harris.

The family wishes to extend their thanks to the Hospice of the Bluegrass for all of their help.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cora H. Eversole will be conducted on Tuesday, September 16, at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Charles Eversole and Rev. Charles Hensley will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Harris Cemetery in the Otter Creek Community.

Visitation will be held on Monday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
