Mrs. Bonnie Sue Maxie

Mrs. Bonnie Sue Maxie, age 64 of Manchester, passed away Friday, June 30th, 2011 at her home. She was born November 29th, 1946 in Clay County, Kentucky. She was a nurses aid at the Laurel Creek Health Care Center and a member of the Church of God Worship Center.

She is survived by her children: Betty Ann Reid of Beech Creek, Jerry Maxie of Owsley County, and Jimmy Maxie of Beech Creek. Also surviving are these grandchildren: Darrell Maxie, JoAnne Reid, Joshua Jarvis and Aleshia Jarvis, Kenton Maxie and A. J. Maxie, these great grandchildren: Cody Maxie and Serenitee Hibbits and Riley Jarvis, and one sister: Vernie Duff of Laurel Creek, and a host of relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her son: Kennneth Wayne Maxie and her husband: Arthur “Shug” Maxie.

The family wishes to give special thanks to Roscoe Napier and family and Shirley Marlow.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Bonnie Sue Maxie will be held on Saturday, July 2nd, at 3 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Joey Burns and Rev. Brad Stevens will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery in the Charlie Sizemore Road Community.

Visitation will be Friday, July 1st, after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
