Mrs. Betty Faye Mathis

Mrs. Betty Faye Mathis, age 55 of Manchester passed away Friday, August 28th, 2009 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was born February 22nd, 1954 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Pearl & Laura Smith Mitchell. She was a homemaker & a member of the Billy’s Branch House of Prayer Holiness Church.

She is survived by her husband: Tony Mathis of Manchester, her children: Melissa Merriman of Laurel Creek & Donnie Bilbrey of Laurel Creek, 4 Grandchildren: Bryan Bilbrey, Brandon Bilbrey, Natasha Merriman, & Selena Merriman. Also surviving is 1 great grandchild: Bryson Bilbrey, & these brothers & sisters: Nora Perkins of Goose Rock, Arlie Mitchell of Goose Rock, Abraham Mitchell of Goose Rock, & Elbert Mitchell of Goose Rock.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Faye Mathis will be Tuesday, September 1st, 2009 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Roscoe Roark, Rev. Jay Mathis, & Rev. Jackie Roberts will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Mathis Cemetery in the Jacks Branch Community.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 30th, after 5 PM at the Billy’s Branch House of Prayer Holiness Church & on Monday, August 31st.
