Mrs. Betty Jean Cope

Mrs. Betty Jean Lewis Cope, age 70 of Manchester, departed this life on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was born on Monday, October 18, 1943 to the union of William and Lucy Lewis. She was affiliated with the Lighthouse Holiness and Crawfish Holiness Churches.

She leaves to mourn her passing her sons: Mickey Cope of Manchester and Michael Cope of Blanchester, Ohio, five grandchildren: Michelle Cope and Kyle Cope of Ohio, Katelyn Cope, Shayln Cope, and Allyson Cope, 3 great grandchildren: Keedon Parker Wiley, Adrian Christian, and Jonathan Wooley. Also surviving is one sister: Joan Henson and her husband: Daugh and one brother: Ray Lewis and his wife Pearl all of Manchester and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents: William and Lucy Lewis, one sister: Joyce Sams, two nephews: Jimmy Wayne Henson and Bobby Sams, and one niece: Rachel Sester.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Jean Cope will be conducted on Saturday, April 19, at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jonathan Henson, Rev. Donnie Mathis, and Rev. Cecil Benge will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Chadwell Cemetery in the Pigeon Roost Community.

Visitation will be held on Friday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
