Mr. Sanford McGee

Mr. Sanford McGee, age 81 of Russell Springs, Kentucky departed this life on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at his home. He was born on February 25, 1935 to Rex and Mattie (Brewer) McGee in Clay County, Kentucky. He was retired from General Motors, of the Baptist faith and a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Master Mason.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Polly McGee and one son: Rickey Joe McGee and wife Lennie of Annville, Kentucky; 2 grandsons: Travis and Mavrick McGee and one sister: Betty Boggs of Lewisburg, Ohio; many nephews, nieces and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Rex and Mattie (Brewer) McGee and his sisters: Ellen Boggs and Shirley Hoskins.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 12:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Joey Burns will be officiating. Visitation will be held after 10:30 AM on Monday until funeral time at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
