Mrs. Allie Hoskins

Mrs. Allie Hoskins, age 72 of Manchester, passed away Tuesday, June 28th, 2011 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was born July 29th, 1938 in Knox County, Kentucky to the union of Abe and Addie Wyatt Jarvis. She was a homemaker and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband: George Hoskins of Manchester, her children: Joyce Smith and her husband Denzil of Goose Rock and Gayla Smith and her husband Lester of Goose Rock. Also surviving are these grandchildren: Jamie Lee Smith and fiancé Jessica Smallwood, and Leslie LeeAnn Smith, and these sisters: Gracie Hale of London and Mildred Houbner of Somerset.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Abe and Addie Jarvis, and these brothers and sisters: Kenneth Jarvis, Pearl Jarvis, Gilbert Jarvis, Annie Hoskins, Zenner Gabbard, and Luther Jarvis.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Allie Hoskins will be Saturday, July 2nd, 2011 at 1 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church. Rev. Own Smith and Rev. Russell Jones will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Blevins Cemetery in the Woolum Community.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 30th, after 4 PM and on Friday at the Friendship Baptist Church.
