Mrs. Alene Curry Evans

Mrs. Alene Curry Evans, age 82 of Manchester, departed this life on Monday, February 9th, 2015 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was born on Thursday, December 29, 1932 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Emery and Cleo Runion Martin.

She leaves to mourn her passing her sons: Ronnie Curry, Roger Curry and Rocky Curry, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her brother: Eugene Martin.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Emery and Cleo Martin, her husbands: Virgil Curry and Fred Evans, her grandson: Ronnie Curry, Jr., and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Alene Curry Evans will be conducted on Thursday, February 12, at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. William Hugh Hudson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Martin Cemetery in the Island Creek Community.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
