Mr. Rudolph Combs

Mr. Rudolph Combs, age 76 of Brushy Branch in Burning Springs, passed away Sunday, December 16 at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, Kentucky. He was born May 31, 1936 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Delbert and Ora Baker Combs. He was a coal miner, carpenter, and block mason.

He is survived by his wife: Hazel Marie Rice Combs of Burning Springs, his children: Mike Combs and his wife Wanda of Island Creek, Jeff Combs and his wife Linda of Burning Springs, Virgella Robinson of London and Anthony Combs and his wife Krissy of Burning Springs. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren: Tara Hawkins, Danielle Rominger, Amy Collins, Brittany Stewart, Whitley Combs, Trevor Dodson, Chandler Combs, Noah Combs and Olivia Robinson, 7 great grandchildren, and his brothers: Roger Combs of Island Creek and Darrell Combs.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Delbert and Ora Combs, his brothers: Bruce and Ellis Combs, and his sister: Marilyn Hudson.

Funeral Services for Mr. Rudolph Combs will be on Wednesday, December 19, at 11 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Jeff Combs will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 18 after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
